Is there a “right” to privacy? I think most people would agree that it’s poor form to share a private communication without the consent of both parties. Libertarians would agree that the government should NOT spy on its own people. And in my opinion people should not act shocked (shocked!) if their actions in a public place get talked about/passed around via the grapevine, digital or the old-fashioned kind, as a warning to others.
